Virtual ASL Immersion Silent Weekend

Workshop Offered:

Attendees can choose between professional development workshops centered around interpreters or aspiring interpreters or workshops focused on ASL linguistics and ASL skill improvement.

  • Building Relationships and Understanding Ethics in Educational Interpreting
  • Leaf: Poetry, Storytelling, & the ‘5’ Handshape
  • and many more!

Program Cost:

Before April 1st: $150 (Students/ORID Members: $130) – CLOSED
Before June 1st: $180 (Students/ORID Members: $160
Before July 1st: $210 (Students/ORID Members: $200)
After July 1st: $250 for all
We are anticipating our attendees will have up to 20 workshop hours, the tentative schedule will be from 8am to 7:30pm on Friday, 9am to 9pm on Saturday, and 9am to 12pm on Sunday.

 

Who Should Register:
Everyone! Deaf community members, ASL students, interpreting students, pre-certified and certified interpreters, ASL teachers and interpreter educators.
